MicroMD Perspective: Attesting with Your MicroMD Software
Recently CMS modified the 2015 attestation requirements, reducing the measures and timeframe for attestation. These changes will make it easier for you to attest for the 2015 reporting period, and here is the best part…Your MicroMD software is already equipped to allow you to attest under the reduced requirements on versions 9.0 and greater. I want to ensure that you are aware of these changes and can take advantage of the easier parameters. - 2015 meaningful Use Attestation Requirements – Before
- 1 year attestation period
- 17 Core Measures
- Additional Menu Measure requirements
- Patient Access requirement
2015 Modified Meaningful Use Attestation Requirements – After
- 90 day attestation Period
- 10 Core Measures
- No Additional Menu Measure requirements
- Patient Access requirements eliminated
