Did you know that the function keys on your keyboard can help you save time?
Here’s how:
Will open the Guarantor/Patient List window. Here you can add a new patient or search for a patient to update their patient information.
Will open Charges/Payments window. Here you can add or edit the patient charges and/or payments.
Will open Billing Inquiry window. Here you can view a patient’s entire transaction history. All sequences will show here, even if you have hidden sequences in the Patient Sequences window.
The combination of these keys will take you to the Patient Detail window for the last patient you worked with. For example, if you are in Charges/Payments for a certain patient and you want to check that patient’s address, you can press the Ctrl and the F5 key at the same time and that patient’s Patient Detail window will open.
Will allow you to recall the last patient. Example: If you are looking at the patient details for Mickey Mouse and you decide you need to see his Charges/Payments or Billing Inquiry, or even if you want to print an individual letter for him you can go to that area (anywhere you can enter a patient name), put focus in the patient name field and hit your F12 key. The name of the patient will populate.
The combination of these keys will take you to the Charges/Payment window for the last patient you worked with. For example, if you are in the Patient Detail window for a certain patient and you want to check that patient’s sequences, you can press the Ctrl and the F6 key at the same time and that patient’s Charges/Payments window will open.
