Henry Schein MicroMD Team Members had a busy summer. Outside of scheduled hours, employees enjoyed celebrating Theme Day with movie themed festivities, volunteering at a local animal shelter in need, and donating items for the shelter.
Theme Day:
On July 12th, team members enjoyed their annual theme day celebration, this year having fun with a “Lights, Camera, Action” theme. On this day, team members participated in a scavenger hunt, Minute to Win It and trivia games. Those who won the games were awarded with gift cards and their very own mini Oscars.
With the red carpet rolled out, fun was had by all, including those who dressed up as movie and TV characters. There was a variety of food, including movie snacks and frozen treats. TSM Mike Householder and his wife, Chelsea, volunteered their DJ skills and party photo booth to make the event memorable.
Animal Shelter:
On Saturday, August 4th, team members volunteered their time to help out at the New Lease on Life Animal Shelter in Struthers, Ohio. Their helping hands were needed to walk and wash dogs, clean out bird, cat and gerbil cages, and wipe down cat furniture. By helping out, the team members were able to accomplish many tasks on the shelter’s to do list.
In addition to volunteering, team members had the opportunity to donate items needed at the shelter. Team members donated items that included, cat and dog food, cat litter, cleaning supplies and more.
