Why is this patient getting a portal update?

Have you ever looked in your portal updates screen, ready to start publishing CDAs and thought, “Wait a minute… Why do I have something to publish for this patient?” If so, refreshing your memory couldn’t be easier.

To see detailed information as to why the patient is showing on the Portal updates, Right click on a patient name listed in Portal Updates and select Change History (This entry).

The Change History window will show you exactly what was changed or added in the patient’s chart to trigger the portal update. Mystery solved!
