Henry Schein Secure Chart Patient Portal Updates

• Import discrete date from portal – get those patient forms filled out and the information entered before the patient arrives for their appointment
• Payment link added – If you are signed up for ePayments, patients can link to your payment page directly from your portal
• Portal messaging between patients and the practices can now be seen in the chart in the EMR, plus messages can be started in the EMR without going into the portal.
• Appointment requests directly from portal to PM – Optionally, you can also allow patients to schedule their appointments through the portal.
• Now see which scheduled patients are signed up for the portal in the Scheduled Visits screen – and sign up those who aren’t already signed up in the same spot!

Credit Card on File Technology

For all ePayments clients, this new feature affords the ability for a credit card to be kept on file for the purpose of balance billing. This feature integrates with the Payment Planning Module and also offers automatic billing of budget amounts using stored credit card information with ePayments.
