Advanced e-Prescribing
Access a patient’s prescription coverage and drug formulary data right at your fingertips. MicroMD EMR can review a list of medications other providers have recently prescribed, transmit prescriptions electronically and return refill or denials with the electronic refill process.
Automated health maintenance
Use MicroMD EMR to add rules to your Screening and Prevention templates and your Immunization templates. When the patient meets the criteria you establish for these rules, the programs and immunizations populate the patient’s chart automatically.
Enhanced patient workflow
With a more powerful patient routing system, you can now view a list of patients and know precisely where they are in your practice and at what stage of their visit. MicroMD EMR allows providers to view the history of the patient’s visit and provide clinical staff notification of tests or immunizations needed.
Integrated document management
With MicroMD DMS now used within the application, you can scan and import documents into the patient chart and view documents throughout the MicroMD EMR application.
