Henry Schein Medical Systems – MicroMD has full time positions available for Practice Management (MicroMD PM) and Electronic Medical Records (MicroMD EMR) Training and Support personnel. These opportunities will enable you to use your computer skills, medical billing experience and clinical knowledge to build an exciting support career.
Responsibilities include:
- Teach end users how to use the MicroMD PM and MicroMD EMR software, both from our office and on site at the clients location.
- Support end users in their day to day use of the MicroMD PM & MicroMD EMR software. Troubleshoot and resolve questions/issues.
- Provide Quality Assurance for the MicroMD Software.
- Work with the programming team to solve programming related problems
- Other duties/roles as assigned
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Information Technology or equivalent education/experience preferred
- 3 + years experience training/supporting end users of various software packages. Medical Billing or Electronic Medical Records software preferred
- Self motivated multi-tasker
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Good decision making and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in teams and independently
- Professional appearance and presentation
- Ability to travel overnight, out of town on occasional basis to train clients
